Spring Detox Juice

This Spring Detox Juice will gently detox your system and help your body transition from heavy winter foods to lighter spring foods. In Spring and Summer we naturally feel lighter and more energetic. However, at the beginning of Spring we often still feel that heaviness of winter and we may need to eliminate toxins to feel light and fresh again. As the days are getting warmer, and days at the beach are creeping closer, you might want to consider cleaning up your diet. You don’t necessarily have to go on a 3 week cleanse to support the natural detoxification process. You can start by taking small steps such as drinking more water and adding more fruits and green leafy vegetables to your diet. If you want to take it a step further, cut out refined foods from your diet, such as white flour and pasta, and substances like sugar and caffeine. If you follow these fifteen simple guidelines for a clean diet, the way you are eating supports your body’s self-cleansing mechanisms, which are vital for optimal health.

Ingredients

  • 2 apples, steels off
  • 8 stalks of celery
  • 1 lemon, skin on
  • 1 cucumber, skin on

Instructions

Juice all ingredients in a juicer, stir well and enjoy your Spring Detox Juice.
