Pomegranate Aloe Vera Smoothie

This delicious and refreshing Pomegranate Aloe Vera Smoothie is anti-oxidant rich and great for reducing inflammation. Both pomegranate seeds and aloe vera gel are powerful antioxidants and contain potent anti-inflammatory phytochemicals. Antioxidants help to minimize the effects of free radical damage to your cells caused by oxidation. Living in our modern world, we cannot avoid the production of free radicals but we can consume foods that help neutralize their potential damage. Pomegranates are among the healthiest fruits on the planet. They are not only in high antioxidants but also high in Vitamin C and potassium. The seeds are very refreshing. Pomegranates, aloe vera, ginger, turmeric, chili and coconut oil are all known for their anti-inflammatory benefits. Increasing the amounts of anti-inflammatory foods you consume can dramatically improve your health. Inflammation is at the root of many chronic diseases, including everything from rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis to high cholesterol and cancer and you can live with high levels of inflammation for years without any symptoms. Ingredients

  • 1 pomegranate, seeds
  • 1 fresh aloe vera leaf, gel
  • 3 fingers of white turmeric, peeled and grated
  • 1 tbsp of ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp of coconut oil
  • 1 dried chili
  • 1 tbsp of hemp seeds
  • 1 tbsp of flax seeds
  • 1 frozen banana

Instructions

Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender, pulse until smooth and enjoy!
