Yoga

Yoga is one of my greatest loves in life. It has shaped who I have become. Yoga helped me heal from a serious injury. Yoga helped me to get out of my head and into my body, to experience life more fully. Ever since yoga came into my life, I feel inspired to help people connect to themselves and others more deeply.

I have been fortunate to study with some amazing teachers. My teachers include Kathryn BudigTiffany Cruikshank, Sianna Sherman, Bridget Woods Kramer, Noah Maze,  Martin Kirk and Desiree Rumbaugh.

I primarily teach Vinyasa Flow, Restorative Yoga and Yoga Therapy, always emphasising finding freedom in the body through safety and alignment.

I see yoga as a way to experience freedom in body, mind and heart, both on and off the mat. Yoga is so much more than the practice on the mat; it’s your attitude towards yourself and towards life. It’s how you live your life off of your yoga mat, how you engage with life. The way you think, eat, breathe, the space you allow yourself and even the company you keep, affects all aspects of who you are. Yoga gets you in touch with your own heart, your inner wisdom.  It helps you to become more centred and empowers you to trust your instincts. We often make choices from the mind space, which governs most of our lives, often keeps us small and takes us away from our feelings. When we make our every day choices from the heart, from a place of inspiration rather than the chit-chatter of the mind, we do not only connect more deeply to who we really are but we are automatically drawn tot the best opportunities for us. Trusting your instinct and trusting in the flow of life, can completely alter the way you relate to yourself and to your life. Instead of settling for a life that keeps us small, our choices bring us closer to the life we dream of, to our purpose, the life you know you deep down deserve.
